MSC Yacht Club Private Dining: 7 Days of Menus and Food Pictures

MSC Yacht Club is advertised as the ultimate VIP experience. A luxury cruise within a cruise. Obviously this means an upgraded dining experience. There is an added expense to doing Yacht Club but you can absolutely get this experience and save money by bidding for an upgrade. We bid the lowest amount permitted for a Yacht Club interior. Not only did we get the upgrade with the minimum bid, but we were awarded a Deluxe Suite with a balcony! We paid about half what it would have cost to book this category stateroom directly.

When you bid for and win and upgrade, you will receive all amenities and benefits included with the upgrade. Just be aware your paperwork and account will continue to reflect the original package purchased. We did have a few public area bartenders push back as our account still had the Easy Drink Package listed rather than the Premium Drink Package included with Yacht Club. Most saw the Yacht Card wrist band and waived the fee. I believe this was due to some inconsistencies in training. Our 24 hour concierge told us to just let them bill us for the drinks, if they insisted, and he would remove the charges.

The Yacht Club private dining room serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. You do not have an assigned dining table or time and rarely do you wait more than a few minutes to be seated. You can of course request a certain table or to sit in a specific server’s section. As the dining room on the Seaside was located on the second floor above the lounge with floor to ceiling windows framing the forward aspect of the 2 story room, we found all tables to have a good to excellent view of the water. There are no bad tables.

On our recent MSC Seaside cruise, we ate in the dining room every night and a few times for breakfast and lunch. I’ve included the menus for the entire week as well as pictures of anything we ate. I will say most of the food was excellent. We very rarely had any “misses.” We also really enjoyed the poolside buffet. While small the offerings were good. On our last sea day they had a seafood lunch buffet with lobster tails, scallops, shrimp, and a variety of fish.
